The active ingredients of the mandelic acid break down the intracellular links, stimulate collagen synthesis and cell regeneration. It has a bacteriostatic effect that regulates blemished, oily and acneic skin. It inhibits the synthesis of melanin and helps renew skin damaged by sun exposure.

An alpha hydroxy acid, derived from almonds, one of the largest AHAs, and as a result, it penetrates the skin at a slower rate, making it less irritating for the skin.
