Refund policy
1. GENERAL RETURN POLICY
MCCosmetic offers a voluntary 30-day return period for eligible products, subject to the conditions set out below.
This voluntary return period does not replace or restrict any mandatory statutory right available to consumers under applicable law.
To request a return, the Customer must contact:
Returns sent without prior contact and, where required, prior authorisation may be refused.
2. CONDITION OF RETURNED PRODUCTS
Unless otherwise required by law, products returned under the voluntary return policy must be:
-
unused;
-
unopened;
-
in their original condition;
-
in their original packaging;
-
properly protected for return transportation; and
-
accompanied by proof of purchase.
Due to hygiene, health protection and product integrity considerations, opened or used cosmetic, professional-use or personal-care products may not be eligible for voluntary return where permitted by law.
Certain personalised, customised, perishable or otherwise legally excluded products may also be non-returnable.
3. STATUTORY WITHDRAWAL RIGHTS
Where applicable, consumers located in the European Union may benefit from a statutory right of withdrawal within the legally applicable period.
Where such a right applies, the Customer may exercise it by contacting:
Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict mandatory statutory withdrawal rights.
4. RETURN SHIPPING
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the Customer is responsible for the costs of returning products under the voluntary return policy.
Where the return results from a confirmed defective, incorrect or non-conforming product for which MCCosmetic is legally responsible, applicable return costs will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
5. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS
The Customer should inspect products upon receipt and contact MCCosmetic as soon as reasonably possible if the order is:
-
damaged;
-
defective;
-
incomplete; or
-
incorrect.
MCCosmetic will assess the situation and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, refund, repair, credit or other legally appropriate solution.
6. REFUNDS
Once an approved return has been received and inspected, MCCosmetic will determine whether a refund is applicable.
Where a refund is due, it will generally be made through the original payment method unless otherwise required or agreed.
Processing times may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Where legally permissible, reasonable amounts properly payable by the Customer may be deducted from the refund.
PURCHASE OPTIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
7. PURCHASE OPTIONS
Depending on destination, availability and product characteristics, MCCosmetic may offer different purchasing and fulfilment options, including standard delivery, express delivery, alternative delivery arrangements and international delivery.
The availability of any option may be restricted by product, destination, payment method, stock availability, carrier limitations or regulatory requirements.
8. CUSTOMER CANCELLATION REQUEST
Customers wishing to cancel an order should contact:
as soon as possible and provide the order number.
Where an order has not yet entered processing or dispatch, MCCosmetic will generally seek to accommodate the cancellation request, subject to applicable law.
Once processing, preparation or dispatch has begun, cancellation may no longer be possible.
9. ORDERS ALREADY DISPATCHED
Where an order has already been dispatched, it may no longer be possible to cancel the shipment directly.
MCCosmetic may, depending on the circumstances:
-
request a carrier return;
-
allow delivery followed by an eligible return;
-
propose an alternative solution; or
-
process the matter under the applicable statutory or voluntary return rules.
Where legally permissible, transport, return, storage, customs or other costs resulting from a Customer-requested cancellation after dispatch may be charged to or deducted from amounts refundable to the Customer.
10. CANCELLATION DUE TO IMPORT OR DELIVERY PROBLEMS
If the Customer wishes to cancel because the products cannot be imported, cleared through customs or received in the destination country, MCCosmetic will assess the matter individually.
Where the issue results from Customer-related circumstances or destination-country requirements, reasonable costs already incurred may, to the extent permitted by law, be charged to or deducted from the refund.
MCCosmetic may nevertheless choose, at its commercial discretion, to waive some or all costs, offer a replacement, credit, refund or alternative solution.
Any such accommodation is exceptional and does not create a precedent.
11. CANCELLATION BY MCCOSMETIC
MCCosmetic may cancel or suspend an order where reasonably justified, including where:
-
products are unavailable;
-
there is a manifest pricing error;
-
payment cannot be verified;
-
fraud is suspected;
-
destination restrictions apply;
-
importation appears legally impossible;
-
Customer information is materially inaccurate;
-
fulfilment is operationally impracticable; or
-
other legitimate commercial or legal circumstances arise.
Where payment has already been received and a refund is legally due, the applicable amount will be refunded.
12. REFUSAL OR FAILURE TO RECEIVE GOODS
Refusal or failure to receive a shipment does not automatically constitute an effective cancellation.
The Customer must contact MCCosmetic and follow the applicable cancellation or return procedure.
Where failure to receive the shipment is attributable to the Customer, reasonable resulting costs may be charged or deducted to the extent permitted by law.
13. COMMERCIAL FLEXIBILITY
MCCosmetic reserves the right to offer exceptional commercial solutions on a case-by-case basis, including:
-
cancellation outside the standard period;
-
replacement;
-
re-shipment;
-
credit;
-
partial or full refund;
-
waiver of certain costs; or
-
alternative fulfilment arrangements.
Such solutions are discretionary and do not constitute an admission of liability, waiver of rights or precedent.
